Consuelo & Max’s Acadia Proposal | Mount Desert Island, Maine
Proposals, how much more romantic does it get? I can tell you that I have never photographed a proposal and not cried behind my camera. There is something so beautiful about two people expressing their love to each other in such an intimate and meaningful way. Max and Consuelo’s proposal was one I will never forget.
Max reached out to me and with the plan to propose to Consuelo in Acadia, and pretty much had all of the details ironed out. He even had a location in mind, a hike he and Consuelo had done in the past that blew them away. It was the perfect location, overlooking Sand Beach, and one that had special memories and emotions attached to it.
I sat on the cliffs acting as if I was a bird photographer (my go to secret undercover alias) and watched as the two arrived and took in the views. Max set up his iPhone on a tripod for a mini phone photo shoot, the perfect cover to get in position for the big reveal! He got down on one knee, and the rest is history.
