Bea & Chris’s Acadia National Park Wedding | Fall in Acadia

Dreamy, intimate, romantic, those are the words that come to mind when I think of Bea and Chris’s Acadia Wedding.

Their day started at a home in Bar Harbor where Chris’s family had vacationed before. Chris’s parents and sister, Bea’s three children, and the couple’s best friend and officiant were present. A true family affair. Everyone was involved in the making of their day. From doing Bea’s hair and makeup, to marrying the couple, they were surrounded by friends and family the entire day.

We headed to Agamont Park for their first look and family photos. The long wooden trellis was the perfect isle for Bea to walk down before seeing Chris for the first time. The day couldn’t have turned out better, a brisk but sunny fall day.

We headed into Acadia for photos and some exploration. That’s the fun of getting married here, there is endless adventure and fun to be had. I brought the group to a spot I have loved for years and knew would be the perfect setting for family portraits. After some time with the family and just Bea and Chris, we all headed to Jordan Pond for their ceremony.

Set on the beach of Jordan Pond, the couple said their vows in front of the setting sun and mountains. It was breathtaking. So much emotion, love, and faith poured into their ceremony. A true union of families.

We ended the day on the top of Cadillac Mountain for Bea and Chris’s first dance, something they had said they wanted to do from our first conversation. It was DREAMY! Without fail Mother Nature gave us one heck of a sunset, and with their closest friends and family watching, Bea and Chris shared a dance on what felt like the top of the world.

Bea and Chris had planned to have a destination wedding in Scotland, but once COVID-19 came they knew they had to change their plans. That’s when they realized that Acadia National Park was the perfect stateside destination for their adventurous wedding. As you have read, and will see below, it turned out perfect.

Small, intimate, and just what they wanted, checkout Bea and Chris’s wedding below and see why Acadia National Park is the perfect place for an adventurous wedding.
